This Fanfic is about The New Year's Eve when Charlie Brown gets it right? This year, will he be able to get the Little Red-Haired Girl? Will his efforts fail like the previous year? Disclaimer: I don't own Peanuts.

Charlie Brown's POV: This year, we don't have to write about War & Peace, this year our teacher forgot about a book for the report, and it was 1 minute before school was over by the time Miss Othmar remembered. I am so happy, this Year, I can send an invitation to the Little Red-Haired Girl. I will be there to dance with her, and she will FINALLY know that I exist. I dream as I walk on the bus and sit down. I knew about the New Year Party ahead of time. As the bus arrives to my stop, I get off and go into my house. Christmas came and gone; I was more focused on the young lady who had stolen my heart, and the chance I would get to dance with her. I am still too nervous to call her, so I will send a letter to her house like before, except this time: I will NOT get my hand stuck in the mail slot. I was feeling very confident that I would achieve this goal. I pushed the envelope in, and I was certain that my goal would be achieved, however, the exact same thing happened as before.
New Year's Eve: I am so nervous, I hadn't heard back from her. I go anyway, and we do almost all the games we had done last year. I am feeling depressed, so I decide to escape to the porch. Peppermint Patty tries her same trick and then runs off. I silently thank Snoopy for relieving me. Then I start dozing off. Linus must have found me because he said, "Wake up!" I stand at attention. He walks in and I follow. Thinking it to be nothing I look down at the floor. Then I thought I better look up and make sure I didn't run into anything. No way...It can't be... There right before my eyes was the very beautiful Little Red-Haired Girl. She smiled at me and said, "Charlie Brown, as I recall from one full year ago, you weren't here to dance with me. Now, don't make the same mistake." I immediately offer my hand as to say 'may I have this dance' she puts her soft and warm hands into mine as if to accept my silent invitation. We then danced and talked. "H-heather, right?" She giggles and nods. I complemented her on her hair, face, and her. She blushes and giggles, then says, "You know, Charlie Brown, last year: when Linus told me he had no idea where you were, and I never saw you; it made me really sad, I was hoping to have a dance with a cute guy named Charlie Brown. Once midnight hit, I gave Heather a kiss on the Cheek. However, she shook her head, while smiling and said, "When will you boys ever learn..." She then gave me a soft, sweet, and quick kiss on the lips. Everyone except a few were shocked beyond shocked. Heather bats her eye-lashes, and does some cute things with her face and says, "Guess no one can call you a block-head now, Charlie Brown!" In a cute tone.

I know it's short and only one point of view, however I will modify it. Happy New Years from Clean Writer.
