"I'm going home stupid!" Kagome stomped off, leaving a scared hanyou behind.

"Fine! See if I care!" Inuyasha turned and put his nose way up, so far up that Shippo thought that it would touch the sky.

"Ugghh! Sit boy! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit! Sit!"

"Kagome, don't leave. You know how overprotective he is with you. He was just jealous that that boy from the village was getting very close with you." Sango put her arm around Kagome.

" Yeah. He's just pretending to be mad because he thinks you'll leave him for that boy. Isn't that right Inuyasha?" Mirouku came up next to Sango, casually brushing his hand against her butt. Sango pounced on Mirouku, giving lovely purple bruises to sport with his bump on the head.

" Monk, your lucky Sango got to you first or you would've been sleeping for days." Inuyasha snarled, spitting out dirt that he had eaten with all of the sits Kagome had given him. Kagome looked at him and noticed that he looked like a puppy trying to fight off a fly. It reminded her of Buyo, her fat cat, and she started to laugh. She couldn't stop laughing and she ended up on the floor rolling from side to side, holding her stomach.

" Are you alright Kagome?" Sango asked with concern that held a hint of laughter. Kagome managed to sit up, wiping tears from her eyes. She spoke through giggles.

" It's just that...Heheheahhhh...that Inuyasha looked like my cat trying to fight off pesky flies bothering him. HAhahaha."

" I'm glad you find my anger entertaining to you." Inuyasha sarcastically drawled. Although he didn't want the rest of the group to know, he was happy that Kagome wasn't mad anymore. He hated it when she cried because she was hurt because of him or when she was mad at him. He just stared at Kagome and watched her smile at the thought of him looking like her cat and he smiled along. Kagome saw this and gave him a big, bright smile that made Inuyasha blush.

" Umm, Kagome?"

" Yes Inuyasha?"

" Are you staying?" Inuyasha watched Kagome get up and start walking towards the village. Sango and Mirouku followed, eventually walking ahead of her. She looked over her shoulder and gave Inuyasha a smile that answered his question. He walked up to her and she grabbed his hand gently, surprising him.

" Inuyasha, I'd never leave you. Don't forget that." Kagome looked into his eyes, giving him the most loving look Inuyasha has ever seen, let alone recieve.

"I'm sorry Kagome." Inuyasha whispered.

" Thank you Inuyasha, that's all I wanted to hear." Kagome leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. Inuyasha looked down at her, shocked and a bit embarassed, making him pray that he wasn't blushing. She gently tugged at his arm and they started to walk, hand in hand, towards the village.
