Alice's POV

There was the vision again. A lone tree in an empty field with a pair of legs sticking out if I try and approach to see the person the vision vanishes. Whose are they why do I keep seeing vision of some one I don't know?

"Hey Jasper, what's wrong with you?"

"Oh its nothing just ran into Edward in the hall and he's really upset about something. Just is affecting me a little that's all."

"Well if that's all I'll see you after school"

Edward you drive me nuts sometimes. You're so closed and yet you can see into any of our minds. Why can't you let some one in yours? Is it really that hard, no one will hurt you. I know you feel as if your "talents" leave you isolated and all alone, well at lest more then any one else. I want you to know that is not true. You have no idea what is like to be able to see the future and not share. It drives me crazy that I can't share even half of what I see but it's for the best. Then there's Jasper who can sense how people feel and even change how they feel but can also be affected by their feelings. Oh Edward just let us in please…

"No, Edward stop"

"Alice its ok nothing happened. Edward headed home. He said he needed to eat and it was driving him crazy to be here."

"You know I think I'll head home too. Do you think you can drive me I don't think I have the power to run home right now."

"Sure no problem"

Esme POV

Oh Edward, you know I love you but is there something missing from you? Where you too young when you were changed? Would have been better if you were left to die? Even if you were too young could time cause you to gain the missing parts or are you stuck like that forever? I never would have thought this if I was still human but is it better for a child to die then to live forever-missing peaces? He is technically older then me in many ways I trust him to make his own choices but it is so hard.

"Alice, why are you home? Don't tell me that girl had the same effect on you."

"No, nothing like that. I have to speak to Edward before he does something he will regret. Where is he?"

"Alice he left. He didn't do anything yet he needs time. I did tell him to do what ever he had to though. Come here it will be all right."
