So this is my one- shot for Degrassi Day today. Hope you like it.
Clare Walked around town, looking for Eli. She had to tell him that she really did have cancer. Then, out of nowhere, it started pouring so hard, Clare couldn't see a thing. However, she could still feel, and feel she did when she hit something. No, not something, but someone. "Clare", said a very familiar voice belonging to a certain ex-goth. "Yes, it's me Eli", she replied.
They arrived at the park bench a few minutes later. The rain had slowed a good deal, so now they could see each other. They sat there with their fingers intertwined for a long time, just listening to the sound of the rain. Finally, Clare spoke. "Eli, I have cancer. I know you might not want to date a girl with that type of sickness, but-". Eli cut off her rambling with a kiss. It was a kiss that made all of Clare's worries melt into nothingness. She knew that, if she were to go a million miles, she would always have that kiss, always have Elijah Goldsworthy by her side, protecting her, loving her. "I love you Elijah Goldsworthy", said Clare as their lip broke apart, "I love you Clare Edwards", Eli replied.
