Courtney and Mack were bored as there was nothing interesting to do. Team Aqua were staying hidden, maybe to launch a sneak attack, but nothing had happened for a while.
It was the same pattern everyday. Wake up at 6am, get breakfast, get dressed and everything, go to their squads, do rolecall, boss grunts around, listen to Tabitha and Brodie argue, see Maxie to find something to cure their boredom, go through a tedious day of work, eat then sleep. Everyday the same pattern. But when they woke up in a mysterious building that changed...
Courtney opened her eyes and immediately panicked. This wasn't her room at Team Magma Hideout, this wasn't her bed. She got up and looked around to see Maxie, Tabitha, Mack and Brodie all asleep in the unfamiliar room. What happened? Why were they there? She walked up to Mack's sleeping form and shook him awake.
"Hm... What is it Courtney? ...The hell?" Mack scanned his surroundings in confusion. This wasn't the Hideout. How did they get here?
"I don't know, I woke up a few minutes ago and we're all here. You. Me. Maxie. Tabitha. Brodie. I haven't the slightest idea why we're here but-" She stopped as the door opened.
Two teenagers stood there, one boy, one girl. The girl had long blue hair and crimson eyes and was wearing a red hoodie like the Magma hoodie minus the horns with a black skirt. The boy had short dark purple hair and red eyes and was wearing the same hoodie with black shorts.
"Oh, you two are awake. Two less people to wake up." The girl said.
"Go Houndoom." The boy sent out a Houndoom which used Howl, waking up the other members of Team Magma.
"Oh my Arceus, what the hell was that?!" Tabitha shouted before realising their location. "Wait, where are we?"
"You are in one of the many rooms in our studio. I'm Crimson, this is Riley. You five are now our prisoners." The girl said.
Brodie looked at them, still half asleep. "Are you police?"
The others facepalmed. Police? Seriously?
"No, does this look like a police uniform, dummy?" Riley asked.
"Why are we here?" Maxie asked.
"We are hosting a TV show in this studio. It's called 'Let's interview and Torture!'. We interview and torture members of villainous teams like yours. And you five are our first victims. We'll interview each of you for a hour then torture each of you for a hour. Simple right?" Crimson said.
"This is going to be a total nightmare, isn't it?" Mack asked.
"Yep. We have a schedule. Interview then torture. First we'll interview Maxie as an episode then next torture him. Then we'll do the same for the rest of you." Riley said.
"...Great..." Maxie muttered.
"Any questions?" Crimson asked.
"Uh, what order are we getting tortured in?" Courtney asked.
"We'll do Maxie first. Then Tabitha then you then Brodie then Mack. Random order I know but still." Crimson answered.
"Okay, Maxie, come with us to the recording studio."
