AN:
Hello again!
I'm back with another short oneshot! I have been trying to write another but this one is deliberately short. I promise you I will start writing long shots soon-ish. ;)
Sorry if it seems a bit rushed as I tried to get this finished before I went to bed.
Disclaim: I don't own any of these awesome characters. Never have, never will.
Darquesse sat upon the tall building roof staring upon the mortals who were rushing around below. She wore an emotionless expression as she watched them go about their lives, not knowing that someone with the power to tear them apart with the flick of her pale hand was watching them intently.
She giggled at the thought. Humans were so arrogant that way. Not knowing what was really happening around them. Completely and utterly oblivious. They reminded her of bugs, something so small and that can wreck so much havoc with a single explorative touch. Sorcerers saw themselves as lion compared to the mere bugs. But they were wrong! They were only slightly larger. Slightly.
The attitude towards the humans the mages displayed surprised her. Why is it only now that the mages had the bright idea of controlling the smaller insects? Why choose to protect the humans? After all they would make great slaves. They would bow down at a small display of power and dominance...And yet they choose to protect them? It puzzled Darquesse, it really did. Sure there had been small attempts spread over the course of history. But not on Ravels scale. Ravels name, even in her head was spat out with dislike and loathing.
She giggled again knowing that she over powered all of them. Humans and mages alike. Nether took more than a jiffy for her to kill. Nether put up a good fight. Both screamed deliciously as they died. Oh the joy.
Darquesse stood up, brushing herself off of any dust she had accumulated. She stepped over the ledge and just fell towards the ground. She landed flat on her hands and feet with cat like elegance. Darquesse looked back through her shared memories. One of their favourite pastimes was killing and collecting bugs. Black fire erupted from her hands as she gleamed with mirth and the humans began to scream in absolute terror.
Thats all folks...For now.
Please don't forget to leave a review/ favourite!
Thank you to the two reviewers who left a review on my other oneshot! 3
If there are any mistakes or errors, care to let me know?
Much love,
