*My enemies aren't here. They always try to defeat me. They are unable to arrest me for conquering the Null Void so far* D'Void thought after he searched for Helen and Manny with Pierce. He stood on one of the rocks in the Null Void. D'Void viewed six Null Guardians flying near other rocks. He began to smile.
*Animals will always have my back.* The corners of D'Void's mouth went down. His eyes became wide as soon as he saw Helen with Pierce and Manny.
He smiled again. ''I'm looking forward to ending your lives,'' he said to the trio. He heard the Null Guardians while they screeched at the same time. ''My pets are very hungry,'' D'Void said.
''We found you, D'Void,'' Pierce said with a frown on his face.
''Your pets will have to starve, D'Void,'' Manny muttered. Frowning, he aimed three weapons at the Null Guardians. *Try to attack me* he thought.
''You are not going to arrest me for conquering this dimension,'' D'Void said as he grinned.
Pierce ran to D'Void before the latter seized his throat. He struggled as D'Void lifted him.
''My pets have my back, but I will remove your spine,'' D'Void informed Pierce.
Helen gasped. ''Pierce!'' she exclaimed as her eyes became bigger. She rolled to one side after a Null Guardian snapped at her.
*I have to save Pierce* she thought.
D'Void cried out after a laser from one of Manny's weapons struck his hand. He released Pierce before the latter landed on his feet.
Scowling, he viewed Pierce running to Helen and Manny.
Manny shot at three Null Guardians before one of them used a tentacle to knock a weapon out of his hand. After wincing, he frowned another time. *At least I have two other weapons* he thought. He stepped back as the Null Guardians approached him. He focused on D'Void. *You are not invulnerable, D'Void* Manny thought.
D'Void continued to scowl at Pierce and Manny. He never forgot about Helen at all.
''The Null Guardians aren't always going to protect you, D'Void,'' Manny said. He began to aim his remaining weapons at D'Void. He fired.
A Null Guardian flew in front of D'Void before a laser from one of Manny's weapons struck it.
D'Void gasped after the Null Guardian fell. He embraced the animal. He glanced at the other Null Guardians as they chased the trio.
Many tears streamed down his face. He concentrated on the deceased Null Guardian. ''Animals will always have my back.''
