and Madison was her bubbly, slightly dense happy self.
Things were okay.
Madison had a crush.
Madison has a crush on who? The resident drummer and ring leader of thier little gang. Lil D. Something about his charm, or the way he plays drums, maybe his humor he has, no, it has to be the way he cares about their group and mentor.
She sneaks small peaks here and there. If he happens to look her way, she may blush a bit and wave. He would chuckled and go back to whatever he was doing. These actions made her work harder in and outside of class. She played her violin more often when she got home.
Sunny notice. He also notice about her crush on Lil D. Lil D didn't know she liked him. Sunny sometimes wonder what went through that boys mind.
Eddie notice. Nobody saw the blushes, except him and Sunny. Eddie confronted her about it. She tried denying it because Lil D was his best friend after all. He told her she was the only person to tell him. He was going to help her get Lil D, since Tamikia turned him down again.
Of course they began spending time thinking of ways for her to tell him. Tamikia notice he stop asking her out. She rarley seen him,
and when she did he was with Madison. She wasn't jealous, just mad because he stopped talking to her. She kinda missed it, of course she wouldn't let nobody know that.
Enough was enough, and she demand to know why he stop sending her favorite flowers or asking her to marry her. He couldn't tell her about Madison's crush. She gave him til 3 or she'll "beat it out of him". He sadly told her about it and begged her not to say a word. She agreed not to say anything.
Tamikia decide to take matters into her own hands, much to Eddie's dismay. Madison was happy that she could help.
Time has pass and it's winter time. They had a concert tonight and preparing before it began. Madison had a plan that they didn't know about.
Madison held a piece of paper in her hands, giddy and nervous about giving it to Lil D. Sunny seen her out the corner of his eye and walked by her and said "Go for it." and walked away. She was confused by his words, but they made sense. Lil D was spinning drum sticks around the noises going on around him. Since everybody was either getting ready or doing whatever.
'This is it' she said in her mind as she walked over to him. He heard footsteps and turn his head around and saw her.
"Hey Madison, what's that?" He asked about whats in her hand.
"Oh this, well it's for you silly!" She said happily, handing it to him. Sunny called for them before the curtian open. Lil D quickly read the note.
He smiled and ran over to her, whisper in her ear, and held her hand through the door.
