Hehe, well after a loooooong silence, I guess I'm back. I am going to
continue my other E x T story, like actually finish it.
Anyhow here is the prologue of my new one.
It was a cool spring day, which wasn't all that unusual, since it was the start of the school year. Still Tomoyo knew that old spring days that she used to experience with Sakura were at an end, since Sakura transfered for a semester in Hong Kong.
As Tomoyo walked past Sakura's house, she couldn't help but remember how Sakura broke then news to her that she was spending the following semester.
"It's been so long since we had a chance to talk to each other, Tomoyo- chan" said Sakura that fateful afternoon, as she served up strawberry tea with mango sago, with a butterscotch pudding, for Kero-chan since he couldn't really abide by strawberry sago.
"Well, it could harldy be help Sakura-chan. Since I was busy with the choir club. You're still with cheerleading and swimming."
"well that isn't the only thing," said Sakura excitedly, "I was so busy applying for that study semester abroad programme ..."
"What exchange programme?" she remembered asking her curiously, " I don't remember you telling me that you were going to be applying for a semester abroad."
"That's because I didn't," said Sakura flushing, "I didn't want to say anything until everything was final."
"Final?" those words sounds ominious, " What do you mean by final?"
Sakura took Tomoyo's hands in her and looked straight at Tomoyo, "Tomoyo- chan, you are my best friend, and you know that I would tell you everything. I got accepted to the Study Asia program. It's this new program that Yamikawa-sensei told me about. So I sure of Oni-chan and Otoo-san would let me go."
"Which school are you going to be attending?" Tomoyo choked out faintly, "have all the details been finalized?"
"Yup, everything is finalized and everything is in order. I'm staying with the Choi family in Kowloon. I'm going to be attending Sovereign Private Academy, Class 11 form A."
"So everything is ready? When do you leave?" an odd buzzing filled her ears, she didn't feel like herself before, as if she had suddenly become detached from her body.
"Hai, Tomoyo-chan," said Sakura enthusicastically, "My plan ticket leaves this Saturday."
This Saturday," she squeaked, in a panic as the implications of a semester without her favorite model to dress up and videotape, "That's not nearly enough time for me to sew some clothes up for you."
Sakura looked thoughtful, as she though she was choosing the words she was about to say to Tomoyo next very carefully, " Tomoyo, you've given me enough clothes to last me until I'm at leaste 28. You don't need to make more of your beautiful creations for me."
"Does Li-san know that you're going to Hong Kong for a semester?" asked Tomoyo.
Sakura blushed, and shook her head.
"so Sakura-chan wants it to be a surprise to Li-san, when she get there. I can just see the outfit you have to wear when you do go see him and his family."
"Mo, Tomoyo-chan you don't have to do this." said Sakura hesitantly.
" Don't worry, Sakura-chan. It would give me joy to make you an outfit fitting to wear to make Li-san's eyes pop out when he see you for the first time since Last Christmas. You will look so beautful, he'll fall in love with you all over again."
