I turned around to see Santana standing there in a red dress identical to all the other girls
"Oh ok, I'll be down in a sec" I turned back around to the mirror still trying to get the tie to work. Wow, I really am stupid. "Want me to help?" Santana asked kinda hesitantly "yeah, that'd be awesome. I never learned how to put on a tie"
She took the tie from me and started laughing "It's a clip on"

"You don't have to tie it, it just slides right on like this" I heard a click and turned back to the mirror adjusting it. I looked good in a tie, if I do say so myself

He sure did look handsome in a tie, sure Puck looked smokin' hot in a tie but Finn was different
He was cute in a kind of adorable way. He was awkward, which made him even cuter and that half smile he does don't even get me started on that.
He was just standing there smiling at himself in the mirror, completely oblivious to me just watching at him like a crazy person.
I don't really know when I started to develop a little crush on Finn, I mean I know I took his virginity but I didn't even have a thing for him then. Maybe it was the way he was different from all the other guys in McKinley.
Sure, he was dumb like everyone else, but he had a heart and and didn't play people like Puck. He stands up for Kurt to Azimio and Karofsky. He's not freaked out that their parents are getting married and he's gonna live in the same house as him. He always puts other peoples needs before his.
I felt like punching Quinn when it came out that Puck was the father, not because I liked Finn- cause I didn't then- but because how could you hurt someone so sweet like that? He did everything for her, and she treated him like garbage.
That's why even though I hate Berry, he deserves someone who's sweet towards him. That loves him and isn't gonna break his heart.

I jumped, getting pulled out of my daydream
"Yeah?" "Thanks, Ya know..for the tie" he said gesturing towards it. He was so cute. He put his hand on my shoulder and gave me that smile. I might have gone a little weak in the knees "No problem, really, but you should probably get downstairs" "Oh yeah! Of course! See you later!"
I watched him walk out the door.
Maybe I could talk to him more, get to know him better. Like I said, he needs someone who's gonna love him and not break his heart, but who said that had to be Berry?
I might come off as a player, but I'm just as capable of loving someone as any other girl is.

I walked out of the room with a smile on my face. This was going to be a fun school year.
