Getting pushed out of the way

Agent Fritz Howard was very surprised when he heard that he was being forced to use his vacation time so soon in the year. While he had heard that upper management was pushing people to use their vacation time Fritz didn't think that it started until at least September. But Brenda wanted to go visit her Father so Fritz went along with the order from management. Not that he really had much of a choice in the matter since the order came from his bosses.

But after two days at Brenda's mothers house one of Howards friends at the office mentioned that the order for his vacation came from a new guy in the department named Agent Boust. And even more interesting to Fritz was the fact that the day after Fritz left Sharon Raydor was kidnapped and Boust asked to be put on the case along with the case that Major Crimes had already been working on. When he asked the friend about how the case was going he said that the agents thought that the two cases were connected to a serial killers case and that suspects had been caught.

Fritz and Brenda ended up talking about the case and they both agreed that something was wrong at home with the agents. Fritz's friend had explained what evidence the team had but Brenda pointed out that the evidence didn't really point to the serial killers as the ones behind Raydor's kidnapping or the victim's death. This caused Brenda to have really bad feelings about how things were going for the squad. Brenda was also worried about her friend Raydor so the both of them agreed that they needed to get home. After talking to Brenda's father they both got into the car and started the drive home.

They just hoped that they would get home in time before Brenda's bad feeling got the Raydor and the squad into trouble. Because Fritz was getting the impression that he was sent away so that he wouldn't get involved with the cases.
