DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the 9O21O franchise characters, old or new. I know it's sad.

SUMMARY: This was a little project where I was to pick a character from a TV show and write a journal entry from their POV. The obvious choice for me Silver. It's short, sweet. Enjoy.

Third Grade Paper 2.0

You know those papers you write in the third grade? Those cliché "who's your hero" writing assignments that are really just a test on your handwriting and language skills. Well, when I was in third grade I wrote mine about my "Uncle" Steve*. Why you ask? Well he may or may not have paid me three dollars to write it. I know, I know. It's cheapwhorey, but three dollars? In the nineties? For an eight year old? Yeah it was a big deal. Anyway, my blog as you know is down. My blog is where I'd usually place these idle ramblings but here it is. I'm making up for lost time. I'm going to redo my third grade paper (no offence Steve). So here it is:

My rock is my sister Kelly Taylor. I know what you're thinking. You're redoing a third grade paper with no incentive just to do it on your sister. Okay, yeah. How ordinary, but listen up. My sister is anything but ordinary. The truth is...

She saved me.

From my fighting parents, my mother's alcoholism, and as it would happen...myself. She's got eighteen years on me, although it doesn't show, physically at least. I think her only flaw is her severe kleptomania over all of the good genes in our family. It quite frankly, pisses me off about how gorgeous she is. (Is it okay to say 'piss' in a third grade paper rewrite? Whatever.) Anyway, she's got this innate ability to help everyone around her, including me. Which in the last few years has been more often than not. And you know the funny thing is..she never complained once. She's stuck by me and stuck up for me. She's seen me at my happiest and at my absolute worst. She's pushed me to do knew things and picked me up when I was down. It's all in a day's work for her. I'm not even her only responsibility. She has a son too. My nephew Sammy. He's got to be one of the greatest kids in the world. He's a trip. Looks just like Kelly too. That little boy has the best mom in the world; he's going to grow up to be one hell of a guy.

I guess the real reason I wanted to do this was to thank her. I could probably list what I'm thanking her for, but good Lord there's so much. So let's go with the clever greeting card way; Thank you for everything. Kel, you've put up with the good, the bad and the bratty I've thrown out at you over the years and you're the only one to stick by through it all. I've been told I'm intense - I don't disagree - but you balance out the intensity. You put me in my place and make me feel loved. Make me feel wanted. So there it is; my third grade paper 2.0 (again no offence Steve).

* Steve Sanders, a character from the original Beverly Hills, 90210. Just in case you didn't already know.

A/N: Let me know what you think. I figured I'd upload it just to see what kind of feedback it gets.
Chapter 5 of Devise. Lies. Surprise, is on its way. Remember to keep checking back or put myself or my stories in your Alerts.
