I honestly don't know how to explain this except if you've played mystery dungeon (sky) and rescue team (blue) imagine a team with a female feraligatr and a female typholsin and the roles switch due to reincarnation but the bodies are swapped (from blue to sky) and the plot goes on but there's unrequited love and a vague sense of 'this has happened before' .

Many seasons have passed since their first meeting at the spot they sat at. Krabby blew bubbles peacefully as the sun set, illuminating an orange glow over the two lovers who sat in silence.

Mizu held Hono in her arms, close to her reptilian body. Hono nestled her head under the large jaw and closed her eyes, letting the waves cqrry her thoughts away while her lover held her. She murmers something into the leathery skin, gaining a grunt from the other prompting her to go repeat herself.

"I've always loved you. I'll continue to love you even after we pass," a kiss was planted next to the giants lips and she continued on.

"We'll meet again countlessly and everytime we do I'll love you. Forever."

Mizu's words wouldn't match her feelings but her actions tried to. A deep passionate kiss connected them for a long time. Once they finished, the sun was long gone and they cuddled close, being lulled to sleep out of exhaustion and the oceans song. The moon illuminated them gently as they dreamed.
