I don't own Girl meets world.

Lucas smiled as he looked into Riley's eyes. People might think they are too young. That they can't know what love was, but he knew as he looked at the girl sitting on his lap that his heart belonged to her. This girl who was so innocent yet so strong. This girl who tried to protect everyone. His lips still tingled from the kiss they'd just shared.

He remembered the first time he'd seen in her in this same subway. Months before, he remembered the smile that wreathed her face as she laughed with Maya and he remembered catching her as Maya sent her flying towards him.

"Maya really does love playing match maker doesn't she." He laughed.

"That she does." Riley laughed. She looked over and scrunched up her nose. "Oh no Farkle is annoying her again.

"Nothing new there." Lucas shook his head. "He's one weird kid."

"That he is." Riley agreed.

"I had a good time tonight." She whispered.

"I did too." He smiled. "Think your dad will let us go out again. you know maybe alone this time."

"I wouldn't get your hopes up." She laughed and inside he felt giddy. He loved to make her laugh.

The subway stopped and he took her hand as they stood up to get off. Lacing their fingers together they walked back towards the Matthew's house. He leaned down and smiled.

"I would kiss you but I can almost assure you that your father is watching and I'd like to make it out of this place alive. He inwardly groaned when he saw the twinkle in her eyes. As she leaned up and kissed him again. "Have a good night Lucas." She whispered before following Maya into the building.

He watched her disappear into the building and turned toward Farkle. "Well I guess we should get home.'

"Lucky." Farkle muttered. "You always get the girl.'

Lucas shook his head. "You'll find someone someday." He walked towards his house thinking of the girl he'd just said goodbye to. Riley Matthews was an amazing girl. He didn't know where the future would take them if they would be together for long but he did know that he was glad she'd been his first kiss.

A/N just a tiny story to tie in with first date.
