The Elsword
There have been rumours around Hyrule of a magical sword known as the Elsword. From what I've heard, the Elsword is the older blade around. It's been protected by a magical seal though, so it still has all of it's ancient powers. Supposedly. Now, I don't know if any of this is true. I don't know if I even believe in this mumbo jumbo, but I've got a story about. Don't quote me on this, but I think this is how the story goes…
"Link! Hey Link, wake up!" A young, feminine voice called out. The voice belonged to a young Kokiri girl named Saria, who was currently standing, waiting, in front of Link's treehouse. Link was another Kokiri, but most everyone mocked him. This was, for the fact that, he did not have a fairy. That's correct, you heard me.
All Kokiri have fairy's since they are young, but for some reason a fairy never came to him. People rumoured that it was because he wasn't a real Kokiri, or that all the fairy's thought he was ugly, or maybe it was the fact that there were no more fairy's left. All of these (except the one stating he was ugly, because in fact, he was a nice, clean, charming young man) could be valid reasons for him not having a fairy, but Saria felt that there was a deeper meaning. She felt like their leader, The Great Deku Tree, hadn't given him a fairy for a reason. She didn't know if he was to ever have one or not, she just thought that there was a reason he didn't. So she was friends with him.
"Come on Link, we don't have all day!" Saria cried out once again. The kid just never stopped sleeping, she thought to herself. She could probably pour a bucket of water on him, and he still wouldn't get up! Well, in all reality he probably would. After a few moments of pondering if she should, she heard a groan come from inside of the treehouse. "Are you awake now?"
"If you call this awake…" A low, groggy voice called back to her. His voice sounded soft, and sweet. Yup, now he's awake. Just a moment ago, the sun was shining, and there were almost no clouds in the sky that could be seen. As soon as Link walked out of his hut though, it started downpouring on them. "Agh! Why didn't you tell me it was raining?"
As Link tried to cover his face with his arms, Saria just laughed. "It wasn't a moment ago, so that's why I didn't say anything."
It wasn't a moment ago. It wasn't a moment ago. It wasn't a moment ago… Link felt something odd after hearing those words. The words echoed in his mind, over, and over, and over. It began to hurt. Shaking it off, thinking it wasn't anything, he climbed down the ladder and ran toward Saria. "Why does this always happen?" He muttered, clearly distressed.
"His distress is not without reason… He can sense it…" A voice whispered, up in the trees. No one heard, and no one knows who's voice this was. The voice was deep, and young. It came from a man, but not any ordinary man. This was no Kokiri, nor any normal man. He flew in the air with wings. Demon wings. "Soon they will find me. I must find a new hiding spot…" and away the creature flew. Somewhere else, to spy on the Kokiri no doubt.
