I closed my eyes and waited for it to be over, waited for my enemy to die, waited for it all to end. Then, out of nowhere, a flash of green light lit up the empty graveyard. For an instant you could see the tombs of forgotten people, the freshly spilled blood of martyrs made the ground a sickening red, people stopped fighting to admire the light, and then it was gone and with it a fight for freedom of evil, and good won. The Death Eaters killed themselves, as to escape the danger of the Dementor's Kiss, and I couldn't blame them one bit, better to spend eternity in suffering than not having an eternity at all. I ran to find my friend who defeated the Dark Lord. I walked to the tomb of Lily and James Potter, the deceased parents of my friend, I saw him standing, staring into nothingness, yet staring at everything. I wanted to reach out and shake him back to reality, to insure that he would be fine, after all the truth was a hard thing to deal with.
"Harry," I whispered. "It's over, it's all over."
He turned and looked me in the eyes, his piercing green eyes, like pools of jade. He said to me
"I know."
Then I saw another lash of green light and he was dead. I looked frantically for the murderer and I found him, Tall and redheaded I had never looked at him as a threat. Harry's murderer was Percy Weasley.
"You!"
I screamed anxious to wrap my hands around his throat and kill him.
"How could you? He was never anything less than a friend to you. He helped you and stood up for you…you…beast"
I emphasized the last word out of pure hatred. All he did is stare at me. I found his behavior strange. Then the truth struck me,
"Voldemort!"
He smirked wickedly at me and raised his wand,
"Ava…" He was cut off by another shout. An unknown person shouted the words that would finally destroy the enemy.
"Avada Kedavra!"
Another flash of green light and the enemy was truly dead. I ran over to the unidentified person and stood there, too shocked too move, for the person who stood before me was someone I would never expect, someone who I believed to be a former enemy, before me, wand in hand, stood Draco Malfoy.
