Early Morning Awakenings

Dr. Temperance Brennan awoke to the sound of her phone ringing on her bed stand.
Who would be calling at this god-forsaken hour?
"Dr. Brennan" she stated with a cold half asleep tone
"Bones, it's me" replied the deep voice of Agent Seeley Booth
"oh, hey Booth, what do you want at..." she steals a glance at her alarm "... 12:30 in the MORNING?"
"I was a... wondering if you could...ahh...could come over and watch Parker for the rest of the night and then look after him for the rest of the weekend?"
"Why and can't you just call Rebecca?"
"Well I can't exactly give you the details, but I need to go undercover for a few days and Rebecca is in Miami for the weekend and you're kinda the only other person that I can kind of ask"
"Com'on Bones please... I'll make it up to you"
"Ok, but I'm not going to stop doing what I need to do, and no It's not at the Lab, so Parkers going to have to tag along. Do you think he can manage that?" Bones was now getting slightly impatient and just wanted to get over there and go back to sleep.
"I'm sure he'll manage, he loves spending time with 'Dr. Bones'"
"ok, I'll just get some things and I be over within the hour"
"Thanks Bones"
True to her word Bones was at Booth's door 35 minutes later.
"thanks again for doing this Bones, you know where everything is, help yourself" Booth told Bones as he was walking out the door "oh and don't let my son burn down the house while I'm gone" he added with the slightest hint of sarcasm in his voice
"well if I have to do that, then promise me you won't get yourself shot or die...again. Have a nice trip" Bones waved goodbye and closed the door, she immediately picked up her bags and headed quickly and quietly straight to Booths bedroom, hopefully to go back to sleep.
