In the Beginning
It was a crisp cold morning when I woke up. I wondered if I was going to finally be in the crew. They called for me at 12:00 hours. I walked over to the mech I was driving. It was called a Kbt-738-3547 Cougar. I saw that it had HV-4 head Vulcan's and an Mhg-45 Machine-Gun type of right arm. The left arm was an Lb-454 Laser Beam. When it was his turn he went to the mech and signed; well buddy ready for the test. When he got into the mech's cockpit he noticed that his right leg was a little tighter then the left leg. He noticed that he had lock on the right leg. He laugh, I forgot about those locks. Three.. Two..One.. GO!! I raced off I saw a mech about 6" taller then mine. So I decided to go to attack mode. I flipped the switch and the machine gun popped out of the right arm, and the left arm began to warm up for the laser beam. I put on a grin and went full dorsal on his ass. I jumped up and tried to shoot the laser beam on his head, but I was an inch off to the left and I hit his left arm. He looked up and he shot a Large Missile at me. I just barely missed the missile. I used my jet on my back and flew off behind a mountain. When I looked at my Damage meter I noticed that I really didn't dodge that missile. It hit my Right arm the machine gun. I tried to shoot it and it just made a very loud creak.and I looked on my radar and he was coming for me very fast. So I powered up my laser beam and closed my eyes and jumped up. I shot it and.. then I heard a creaking sound. I opened my eyes and saw that the laser beam shot straight trough his cockpit. Three seconds later it exploded. I started to cry because I though I just killed one of my comrades.but it turns out that it was just a regular robot with no controller. I signed and went to the base to see if I joined the Mechassult team. When I went to the generals office to see him he said I did join the Mechassult team but only as a reinforcement general. I was still happy because I was the general off the Mechassult Reinforcements. He also told me the real group name. The Thunder Dragons.
