Nick and his friends Megan and Angie were excited. They were going to a TV convention in Atlanta.
At Memorial Airport, the gang were waiting for their charter plane to arrive.
"Why are we taking a charter flight, when we could just fly out of Logan?" asked Meghan.
"Plus, we don't get food on a charter flight." added in Angie.
"Relax everyone." said Nick. "Here comes our plane now."
The plane landed on the runway, and the pilot, Mr Perward, came over to see the gang.
"Atlanta bound?" asked Mr Perward.
"Yep." said Nick.
So the gang boarded the plane, and soon they were off to Atlanta.
The flight was going smoothly, until heavy fog made it hard for the pilot to see,
"We're going to have to make an emergency landing." said Mr Perward.
So the pilot began to lower the plane, and soon they landed.
But when the gang got off their plane, they were surprised.
"I don't think this is Atlanta," said Angie.
"Yeah, where are we?" asked Megan.
Nick opened up Google Maps to see where they were located.
"We're in Tarrytown." said Nick.
"Great!" said Angie. "We're going to miss the grand opening of the convention."
Just then, Easy O'Malley, the man in charge of Tarrytown Airport, came over.
"Is there any problems?" he asked.
"We had to make an emergency landing here because of heavy fog." explained Nick. "You see, me and my friends are heading to Atlanta for a TV convention, but we had to land here."
"I see." said Easy O'Malley, "You should find Brenda Blue. She'll be able to help you out."
"Thank you." said Nick, and set off with the gang to find Brenda Blue.
They soon found Brenda Blue.
"Hello there." said Brenda Blue. "Can I assist you with anything?"
"We need to get to Atlanta." explained Angie. "Can you get us a flight there?"
"You'll have to wait 'till tomorrow. There's a big storm coming tonight, and I don't want any of my airplanes going out in it. We'll have you in Atlanta by afternoon tomorrow. So you guys can sleep here tonight.
The friends were dissapointed that they would missing the opening event, but were glad that they would be able to get to Atlanta by tomorrow.
That night, the gang met the other airplanes, and soon it was time for bed.
"Good night everyone." said Jay-Jay.
"Good night." replied the other airplanes.
The three friends then fell asleep.
But late that night, Nick heard someone snoring very loudly. He walked over to find out who was snoring.
The snoring was coming from Herky.
Then, Nick heard a whimpering noise coming from one of his friends.
Angie was whimpering while holding on the Megan's arm.
"I'm scared." she told her.
"It's okay." said Nick. "It's only Herky snoring."
Just then, Jay-Jay came in.
"Is everything alright guys?" he asked.
"Herky is scaring me!" cried Angie.
"It must be his snoring." said Jay-Jay. "He doesn't do it this often though."
Angie felt relieved.
The next morning, Savannah came to take the gang on their way to Atlanta.
"Thank you Brenda Blue for letting us stay here for the night." said Nick.
"And I hope that you can make it to Atlanta safely." replied Brenda Blue.
They said goodbye to everyone, and set off on Savannah to Atlanta.
