Crap
Link was pooped. He had worked for Malon all day and hadn't had a single break. He had shoveled cow crap, shoveled cucco crap, shoveled horse crap, and at one point tree crap.
Link through down his hat. "I... am soo tired!"
Malon whirled around surprised at Link, "you talked!" she gasped.
"Yes, and I'm tired, please let me go home."
Malon thought about this for a moment. Just a moment, then decided on no. She then pointed to some crap on the wall. Link wasn't sure what kind of crap it was, it appeared to be of the stalfos kind.
After Link had scraped it off, he had it. No, he didn't eat it, he was fed up with shoveling crap. So he through down his shovel and turned right and left. He decided to start his new life in Kokiri.
Link took a deep breath and snorted in a fairy. Coughing and wheezing, he climbed up and into his house. Upon entering his old house he smelt something terrible. It was not only the remains of his cow (the one he hadn't fed in a few years) but it was also the crap it had left behind. Disgusted and fed up, Link turned right and left.
His next home was Hyrule Castle Market. For some reason it was a town and not a market. Link needed a job so he went to the castle and had a chat with the King of the town. Link was hoping to find a job being a knight.
"Let me see, we do have an opening for a local poopsmith..." muttered the King.
"AARGH!!" Shouted Link. Link couldn't stand this any longer and turned left then right out the door.
Link decided to skip Gerudo fortress with the luck he was having, then decided to see what kind of jobs the Zora's had. Cautiously he spoke to Ruto, afraid of what the consequences might be.
"HEY LINK! Are you looking for a wife or a job?" Asked Ruto.
"Er... no and yes."
"That's great! We need a job shoveling Jabu Jabu's("
"NO!!!" Link screamed then ran out of the palace... thing.
"( fish... that's odd." Finished Ruto.
Tired, hungry, and sick to his stomach (okay, so he wasn't hungry), Link stumbled through the doors to Lon Lon ranch. Malon stood in the field, waiting for Link.
"Link! Oh good! I thought you had run away I was so sad!" She said as she rushed up to hug him. Link opened his arms to catch her and then felt a sharp pain in the back of his head.
"Wake up Fairy boy! You have to milk the cows before you nap!" He heard Malon's voice say. He snapped awake realizing it was all just a dream. "And after that, we have some cow pie's to shovel up!"
