From all these smiling faces
Yours stands out more
Different people from different places
Still you eat me from the core
Your smile is never pretend
You can never lie
Your happiness could never end
I hated it when you said good-bye
If you had eyes to see
Maybe you would've seen
That I wished you loved me
But people kept getting in between
I should have taken that chance
When I wanted to
To be your partner for the last dance
But I couldn't come near you
If I had eyes to see
Then I should have known
That you would never love me
Now I feel so alone
Now you're with my best friend
I would have begged him to set you free
To have your relationship end
And be together with me
But I could never break his happiness
Because he was always with you
It's my fault I made this mess
Now I don't know how to get through
If you had eyes to see
Then maybe you wouldn't be so blind
That I wanted you to be with me
And then I would be able to call you mine
