Bearing the End

Find A Host

"Why did I agree to this task. I keep asking myself that, I know

the answer. No one else could accomplish this as well as myself.

Deciding a host is not easy, billions of them, and only one shall be

chosen. It's quite surprising how far they have advanced recently.

And yet, they seem to be so argumentative of themselves, of the

philosophy of the mass population, yet so lazy, that they do

practically nothing to change themselves. Humans, such a strange

creature, they have a need to question all possibilities of

their own existence. And at the same time, they seek order by setting

'governments' for themselves, and then destroy said creations. And

just to make it worse, they have separated themselves with imaginary

lines in the form of countries, it's like children playing in a

sandbox. And whoever has the most land, and whoever can supply their

people the best, wins. Unlike in Hell, and even Heaven for that

matter, we have a set ruler, a single king with no- well 2

kings... Are Satan and God playing war? If they are then- Agh! I need

to pay attention! I have a duty to my lord; find a host!"

...

"Looking at this capsule, it has such an intricate design, it's a

waste though. All this beauty put into a container, so it can be

viewed by only a handful. And then there's the thing inside it, such a dark red, all the ability of that liquid, truly only a master of

despair could concoct this form of death. I just ask, why does it

have to be so heavy? All that is required is one human, and yet I

have enough here to host ten! I shouldn't question his ways. After

all, I followed Satan into that pit. I should be loyal, I am loyal. I

am loyal... to whom though? God was my friend once, and now I've been

dragged down to the deepest depth by Satan and his horde. Really, I

never wanted to fight God, but the idea of Luci- don't say his name,

of Satan ruling perhaps aside God did seem logical, God's love and...

Satan's power. They would fill in the weaknesses the other has. I

merely got into the thick of it because I supported Satan, but I

guess God punishes any and all who go against him... but they can be

forgiven, according to him anyway, and judging by the fact that I now

live in Hell, I'm not too sure I should be trusting him any time

soon... The weight of this thing is getting to me, I should start

thinking about where to unleash it."

...

"This liquid is able to indefinitely obliterate the human species,

according to Satan. He forged it after all, so of course he couldn't

be telling lies. Just, why did I have to carry out this task... maybe

he wants to test me, see if I truly am loyal. Does he suspect me? I

stood by his side for and immeasurable amount of time, do I give of a

felling of doubt? Hmm, anyway, I believe this is the best place to

find a host, nice and quiet, good amount of humans, and the higher

altitude would allow it to spread much more easily."

...

"Well, he doesn't seem like much, but he's the best candidate for

this; middle-aged, quite social, and goes to a doctor regularly. That

should make it very easy to spread. Hmm... Just, slip a bit of it

into him. -Sigh- Finally. Oh wow, it's already starting it's process

didn't expect it to- Satan made it, so I shouldn't be

surprised...But, at this rate, it should be able to eradicate the

human race much faster than I anticipated. I just hope they...

Why was I given this task..."
