"Sometimes, I just want to stick a popsicle in each of their hands," Bobby whispered as he and his lover walked through the park. They hardly noticed the day's beauty while trying to ignore the hating glares coming their way.

Hank blinked at him. "You know," Bobby explained, "they hate us because their parents tell them to, but every kid loves popsicles. No one's ever heard of a child hating the ice cream man."

Hank's blue eyes shimmered for a moment. He pulled Bobby to him but couldn't help admitting dryly, "Knowing our luck, my dear Robert, they'd have diabetes."
