The sound of the fire crackling was comforting, but not enough.
Link watched the flames dance around in the fireplace, his eyes heavy with fatigue. His body ached from travelling back and forth to Hyrule (not to mention fighting off foes along the way), and all the Hylian really wanted to do was sleep. He really wanted to, but he just couldn't.
Link sighed softly and curled up some, hoping to find warmth in that. It just didn't feel right.
Suddenly, a pair of strong arms wrapped his waist and pulled him close, enveloping his body in loving heat completely. The warrior's ears twitched as he listened to his Gerudo lover grunt and grumble sleepily, rubbing his sides soothingly.
Link smiled and closed his eyes, falling asleep instantly.
