Looking for Big Foot

Buster was in the tree house alone one day around sunset and he saw Bigfoot and heard it make a noise. He told his friends that they are real. Arthur, Francine, Muffy, and Ladonna believe him, as well as DW, Bud, and Emily. Not so with Brain and the Tibble twins; they think it is a hoax. The rest have mixed feelings. They want to see it to believe it and probably wont until then.

He called Arthur first, after he went home.

"Arthur," he said, "I saw Bigfoot! I was in the tree house and I saw it! It was big and hairy and it smelled worse than Skunkamunka! It made a weird noise, too, like this." Buster made a noise which sounded kind of like what he heard.
"I heard a noise like that last week, when I was walking Pal around sunset," Arthur said. "Meet at my backyard tomorrow after school and we can more about it then."
Buster said yes and hung up.

"So, Bigfoot is real," said Buster, after he explained what happened. "I know it was real."
"I believe they are real too," replied Arthur. "I think I heard one once. I am in."
"I've never heard or seen one," said Francine, "but I found a footprints once. "I'm in too!"
"Same here, cross my heart!" said Ladonna, "I saw one back in Louisiana."

Brain thinks it's someone dressed up in a costume to scare people. He thinks that is the case, because science would've found a body or bones or some evidence.

"It must be someone in a costume, since nobody found real evidence, said Brain. "I'm in to prove it. So I'll come with you guys."
"Same here," agreed Tommy, "It must be."
"And same here, said Timmy, "It makes since to me. Scaring people is fun!"
"Admit it," said Bud, "Bigfoot is real!"
"Let them have their way, Bud," DW responded. "They will come around if we see one."

They agreed a club to find Bigfoot. Arthur and his friends were going to meet back at his house the next morning since it was Saturday, and then they could decide on a name, where to look, and what to bring. He and Buster walked home and said goodbye to Muffy when Bailey came to pick her up.

"I remember dressed as Skunkamunka," said Muffy, "and scared us away from the greenie grub, or whatever that bird was."
"I said sorry lots of times!" cried Buster, "I promised that it won't happen again!"
"It better not, Buster," Arthur responded. 'We didn't like that."

Binky and his friends said they'd help look for Bigfoot as well. They all believe in Bigfoot is real like some people do.

"The tough consumers want to come too," remarked Francine. "I'm glad they're not bullies anymore."
"You said it, Francine," Arthur responded. "They can come with us."
