...For Gaby...

"Lily, Lily, Lily, Lily, Lily!" yelled a somewhat hyper James Potter, bounding across the common room to meet her.

"Potter, Potter, Potter, Potter, Potter!" she responded sarcastically.

"You're back!"

"Obviously."

"I missed you!"

"You're a stalker."

"You're sexy."

"Obviously."

He laughed and grabbed her hand.

"Please control your hormonal urges, Potter," Lily said dryly.

He shrugged and pulled her onto the couch with him. Sirius Black sat in the chair across from them, pretending to read. That was the one reason that Lily suspected something was up.

"Sirius is watching us," James commented.

"Obviously," was Lily's simple response, though she sent Sirius a glare.

"Are you mad?"

"Not particularly."

"Would you be mad if I asked you out?"

"Obviously."

"Want to go out with me?"

"No," she said, too quickly.

He blinked at her. "Yeah, you do," he said.

"Obviously," she murmured under her breath—not that Sirius missed it. Aloud she said, "No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"Yes."

"What?" James paused a moment, staring at Lily, who'd turned beet red. "You like me!"

"Obviously," she said. He stared.

"Yeah, James," Sirius retorted, "obviously."
