Chapter X
The years came and went, bringing no new changes, except the passing of friends. Slowly, the older animals, the ones that still remembered the times of Jones, died off, until all those who remained were Clover, Moses, Benjamin, and some of the pigs. But the days of Jones were no longer important. The pigs had been putting out propaganda about a large event that was going to take place, but they did not specify what this was. Some days later, three large crates were brought to the farm which were stored in the barn. One night the animals opened one. They looked at the contents in shock. Guns! The pigs had ordered a large stock pile of rifles, shotguns, even explosives. To their surprise the animals turned to see all the pigs with Napoleon in front behind them. But they were not mad. Napoleon said "I see you have discovered the weapons comrades". "For years, this farm has suffered at the hands of the Human raiders. Now it is our turn. The great rebellion, not just overturning a small farm in England comrades, but the entire Human race! Every human shall perish at the hands of us animals, and we will finally be free of all suffering". The animals were overjoyed at this, and the next few days, after work, the animals trained to use the weapons. It was difficult, but at last they prevailed. And so, with Napoleon leading from the rear, the animals set off in two groups two take the farms of their human neighbors. Every last human was taken by surprise and slaughtered, and the animals of those farms joined the fight. And so, farm by farm, village by village, city by city, the animals expulsed the humans. By this time, all the birds had been sent out to every nation across the earth, and soon, the human race had simply faded away, till it was but a memory. The animals, under the command of the most exalted Napoleon, set up a few humans to live on a barren island off the east coast of Africa. And so, the Prophecy of Beasts of England, was finally fulfilled.
