Listening to the waves everything seemed so peaceful. With the waves going back and forth, back and forth, and the sun shining it seemed that it was a perfect day. Sora, jumping to conclusions like the protagonist he is, thought to himself: What a nice day, nothing could go wrong now.
At that moment Kairi began walking down the beach.
"Sora!" Kairi shouted.
"Kairi!" Sora shouted back as he ran to her, they met, and embrace. Not, by the way, the Boyfriend/Girlfriend kind of hug. Rather the kind of hug normal friends use.
"Oh Sora there is something I just have to tell you!"
"Yes Kairi!"
"I, I, I-"
"Go on Kairi!" this was it, the moment then good friends finally reveal their feelings to one another.
"I'm not in love with you!"
"So am I, Kairi!" Sora said without thinking. But then as his rather small brain did start to think, he stammered out- "Wait, but, you aren't going to give me the 'lets be friends' talk are you?"
"No Sora, you see I'm…" said Kairi as she pondered for the right words. "I'm seeing someone else."
"No!" Sora cried. "I knew it! You and Riku always were in love, he gets one whole tenth of everything, why does he have to have you too?"
"No Sora, I'm not in love with Riku."
"Then it's Axel, why him? Don't you love me?"
"No Sora."
"Tidus?"
"No Sora."
"King Mickey?"
"No Sora."
"But, but then what?"
"I'm in love with Saïx, and I'm marrying him this Tuesday!" said Kairi albeit cheerfully.
Sora's small world then started to fall apart. "Bu- but why Kairi, why do you love him? I thought we had something." Sora stammered out.
"No, no silly, I love Saïx, we're just friends, you and I. I don't have anything against you. " Then after a little bit of thought, "except for the fact he has better hair."
Sora's jaw hung open as his world collapsed further, all the while thinking mixed thoughts of suicide and homicide.
"But Sora, I wanted to tell you this because-"
Ohhhh, I see, she must not of wanted be marry in the first place. Sora thought to himself. But Saïx would not let her out of it, so she comes to me so she can have me get her out of it so she can finally reveal her true feelings to me! Yay! Yippee Skippe!
It was then Sora's thoughts were interrupted by reality.
"You see Selphie's got the flu so I was wondering if you could be the flower girl- er, boy!"
Sora's world then was in so many small pieces that the pieces were almost the size of his brain.
"I WOULD RATHER KILL MYSELF, no wait I mean… I WOULD RATHER YOU THAN BE THE FLOWER GIRL AT YOUR WEDDING!!!!"
Sora then stomped off yelling words inappropriate on children's shows.
Kairi then said herself "Did I offend him?"
