A little oneshot I wrote on how I think one of the most sad characters in the harry potter series felt when he gave up his friends.

Peter Pettigrew was in his rat form, scurrying through the dirty streets of London heading towards an old brimstone house in the middle of a purely non Muggle area. Shadows hiding beneath the fur of that ugly face's eyes, thoughts whizzing through his head, should he do this?
Sure his 'friends' weren't always nice to him, sure they treated him like they were sooo much better than him, but they were still his friends. They put their trust into him and made him there secret keeper. Lily had always been nice to him, asking him questions about his very boring job and always trying to make him feel as if he was good enough to be a part of the marauders.
James didn't deserve her, she was so nice, he had always liked her but James being James didn't respect Peters crush on her and went after Lily himself.
That kid Harry should have been his, he loved Lily a thousand times more than James ever had, he only likes her because she's beautiful, a perfect trophy wife, he ignores her whenever she's trying to talk intellectually to him. I hate him for what he's doing to her, making her feel worse about herself.
I loved her so much
And Sirius, he's just as bad, I had a girl I could of loved, but he had to go and steal her as well, Grace her name was, he ruined her, made her something she wasn't, he had no cares for her and never will.
That is why I have to do this, why I must turn them over, Lily will be happier away from that monster, I have made sure that he-who-must-not-be-named will not harm her, and he will leave her for me. James will get what he deserves, I'm not his little pet that he can boss around, and I will make sure that he knows who will take his beloved wife for his own when he is taking his dying breath. Sirius can go rot in a pit with that's little trash of his, he deserves nothing better.
I WILL do it, I will hand there location to my Lord and I will make them pay for everything they have ever done.
And I will live happily ever after without them!
