A/N: This is possibly the start of a new drabble series inspired by music. I can't write anything with length, so I thought I might as well write lots of really short things.

I hereby disclaim all that which is not mine to own.

All That Still Matters

Axel sank down to the road, hands running through his hair in frustration. Of all the times for his car to fuck up, it would be now, when he desperately needed to be moving.

He looked miserably up at the sign, telling him exactly how far from town he was.

"Ten miles," he growled "why was I even ten miles from him in the first place?"

He was such an idiot. This was entirely his fault, and he had never hated himself more. He was just too stubborn. Too stubborn to let himself be happy, too stubborn to know when to let something go.

Axel couldn't even remember what the fight had been about, but he knew it wasn't worth the misery the past week had been. Nothing was. He couldn't possibly go another minute without seeing his face, hearing his voice or touching his skin. God, he missed him so much.

Roxas was all he ever needed.

Axel scrambled to his feet and began to run towards the town. Towards his everything.
