Mad Man

Horatio looked on in horror as the offender stood in front of him holding Calleigh to him with a gun to her head. She squirmed uncomfortably under his grip, he was holding her a little high up from her waist than she would have liked, she didn't like the fact he was touching her at all, but hi hands could have least been at her waist not her chest. She squirmed and he only tightened his grip. She looked at Horatio, pleading in her eyes to get this man the hell off of her. Horatio hand his gun firmly pointing at the offender, but the guy also had his gun firmly planted against Calleigh's head. He grinned as his hand roamed her body and she tried to break free. Horatio tried to keep his facial expression neutral, but the anger and disgust with this man was slowly creeping up and taking over. Calleigh felt helpless and hated how it felt, she was completely relying on Horatio to make the right moves towards the man who was holding her and Horatio knew it. The man who was holding her could also see how helpless she now was and was loving it, he was loving the power he had over Calleigh and Horatio. He mocked them by touching her more, much to her disgust, she tried to escape again but he had hold of her too tight. Horatio yelled at him to stop and let her go. He laughed and shook his head as a no. He cocked the gun against Calleigh's head, she heard the familiar click of a gun being made ready to let the bullet loose and cause damage. She closed her eyes and tensed up waiting for it to hit her. Horatio took a step forward and the man took a step back pulling Calleigh with him. He warned Horatio he would do it, he warned Horatio that if he didn't get out of his way he would pull the trigger and kill her. Horatio looked into Calleigh's eyes and could see the fear there, he hated seeing her afraid, in danger, her life now depended on his decision. After hardly even a moment Horatio lowered his weapon, hoping he didn't just cost Calleigh her life, and stepped aside. The man smirked and dragged Calleigh with him around the corner and so he was out of sight before releasing her. Horatio ran forward and caught her as she collapsed in sobs into his arms. He held her tight and comforted her. He told her he was sorry she was put in that position and that man was able to get to her. He told her he was sorry and that he should have protected her better. She shook her head against his chest and looked up at him threw tear stained eyes. She told him he couldn't have tried any harder to protect her or any of the team, that he was the best lieutenant she'd ever had, and that she wouldn't change him for the world. He smiled and pulled her tightly into a hug. He then tilted his head to the side and gently used a finger to lift her chin up to look at him. He leant down and kissed her lips softly. She gasped as his lips touched hers and leaned up into him. He leant down further and deepened the kiss. They stood there for a few more moments in the kiss before they finally had to break apart for air. Horatio led Calleigh to his hummer, she went willingly, smiling. He helped her into the passenger side, kissing her softly before going round to the drivers side. He drove her home, back to his place. He took her inside and led her to the couch. He intended to look after her and make sure she was ok before their relationship went even further. She smiled and gratefully excepted the hot coffee he offered her as he sat down next to her. She leant against his chest as they sat watching TV on his sofa. She finished her coffee and drifted off to sleep in his arms. Horatio smiled at her sleeping peacefully in his arms, kissed her forehead and fell asleep along with her.
