WHEN WILL YOU COME HOME?

It was a soft, calming foggy day and all was calm. This day was depressing as you can tell and all of the clouds had bunched up together which made it look like it was going to rain. Out of millions of houses, there is one in particular that I would like to mention. Inside, sitting next to the window with her head against the cold glass was a pink haired girl.

She looked very depressed and was running her smooth hand through her smooth hair and sighed a very heartfelt sigh. She opened her beautiful, gleaming green eyes as she got off the wooden chair and started for her silky white bed. Her name is Haruno Sakura and this year, she's now 24 years old. Her loneliness gathered up inside of her, creating beads of salty water roll of her slightly pink cheeks.

Sakura slid over to her drawer and pulled out a picture that was never meant to be taken out. She touched the picture and layed it against her face as she started whimpering with more beads of water flowing from her grass colored eyes. "You said you'd come home. I've waited forever for your return! Everyone said you died, but I don't believe it!"

Sakura cried, leaning her head on her cream colored wall and hitting it with all her might.

"It's now exactly 10 years since people started telling me you were dead, but I didn't believe it, I won't believe it!" Sakura screamed, now crying furiously, still hugging the picture. "Sasuke! You told me you would come visit me! I still remember every single word you said in my heart."

"Sakura, if I …die now, I promise to visit you in 10 years tops. I'll be wearing a blue sweatshirt and jeans at the same place. Don't forget me, I love you…"…the moniter only showed a straight line running across the screen and on that screen you could see Sakura shocked at what had happened. "SASUKE!"…20 minutes later, "I'm sorry, but we couldn't do anything about it, he flat lined, he's dead.

Death time, January 1, 1990 at 12:00am " ------! Why? You promised to be with me forever! It was my fault I know! I shouldn't have let a little disease take you away, but I can't do anything. I rely on you everyday… Sasuke…" Sakura wept as she started out for the door and at that moment, it started to pour madly as if the sky was crying with her.

She flung the door open and ran outside into the rain, clenching the picture close to her chest as she ran down the dirt road and she continued to run like there was no tomorrow. Sakura's pink, flowing hair flew behind her as she ran into a small meadow and leaned against a pink, cherry blossom tree.

"Sasuke! Where are you? I want to meet you…" Sakura sobbed as rain beads raced down her smooth face with her clothes soaking wet. Because of the coldness racing up inside of her, she blacked out.

Suddenly, she felt a hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay?" A voice behind asked her. She looked behind and she found Sasuke standing behind her, smiling a sweet smile. "Sasuke! You came!" A relieved Sakura exclaimed flinging her arms around his thick neck.

"I promised I would come, but I can't stay long ok? I have something for you"

Sakura nodded as she lifted the object from Sasuke's hand and fell asleep in his arms under the pink cherry blossom tree.

"Hello? Are you alright?"

Sakura opened her beautiful green eyes to find a figure standing above her wearing a blue sweatshirt and jeans.

"Huh?"

"Finally you're awake. What are you doing here?"

"What about you?"

"I'm waiting for someone only I don't know who, but my instincts told me to come."

"Oh."

She felt an object in the center of her palms and opened it up. Inside wrote, "Two become one." She looked at the young boy and smiled.

"I think I know what you're looking for."
