A man opened his eyes to find himself in a tub of water; he slowly got up and looked around, he was in a small room with the tub of water in the center. The
only other object in the room was a strange pedestal off to the side that glowed blue; it had a small rectangular thing set in it that glowed like the pedestal but
instead it radiated a faint orange. Suddenly the rectangular object began speaking. "It appears that you have finally awoken this, is the shiekah slate, take it, it
will guide you on your journey" it said making some beeping noises. The man stepped forward and took the 'Shiekah slate' from the pedestal and it began
speaking again "Good, now I will tell you about its features: I think the only thing you can currently access is its map, go ahead and activate it by touching the
screen" The man tapped the screen and it lit up, it showed a large map with a few places marked with words and the outlines of cliffs and other rocky terrain on
it. However most of the map was a pale blue with nothing marked there. Again the voice spoke "You must be wondering many things, correct?" The man nodded
"Well, I am Doctor Purah and I programmed the Shiekah Slate so that I could talk to you through it when you awoke from your 100 year slumber here in the
shrine of resurrection. Also your name is Link; however you will not be able to remember anything from before you awoke I'm afraid" As Link processed
everything Doctor Purah had just told him part of the wall in the room moved to the side revealing a long passageway filled with crates and various other objects.
