Alexis woke to the shrill of the alarm, but before she could throw it across the room her sister barged in and turned it off before throwing open the curtains. She groaned and pulled the pillow over her head, don't you have a son to go bother?"
Regina pulled the pillow off her head, "my son has already left for school, now get up you don't want to be late for work!"
Alexis sat up and stuck her tongue out at her sister's back as she walked out of the room to let her get ready.
30 minutes later:
Alexis walked into the police station, giving Graham the coffee she'd picked up for him as well as a quick good morning kiss. She sat at her desk and started typing in reports to keep on their digital database. She looked over at Graham and frowned as she continued to type, she'd been with him for as long as she could remember and as wonderful as it was it still felt off, like she wasn't where she was supposed to be in her life or with whom. She quickly shook her head; she must have been letting the things her nephew Henry said get to into her subconscious. Not that he'd even tell her who she was supposed to end up with; he seemed worried to tell her, then again the kid also thought that Regina was supposedly this Evil Queen and that she had ruined my one chance at true love.
She kept working even after Graham went out on a call, leaving her to her work and man the phones on her own not that they got many calls.
Later that evening she went home to find out that Henry hadn't gone to school and hadn't come home either. She stayed by her sister's side trying to keep the both of them calm well Graham did his job. Even later she watched her sister go and open the door to find Henry and some blonde women standing there. She watched as Henry ran up to his room after informing them that the blonde was his long lost birth mother. She walked into the kitchen and poured a strong drink for Emma Regina and herself. She noticed the look in her sister's eyes and knew Emma would need to watch her back.
