This is my first real fic so go easy on me and also correct my mistakes if necessary

she knew if she had to tell him she liked he,let me rephrase that in love with him she had to go prepared.she was so nervous that her entire body was moist.she had taught of what bolin had told her about mako not wanting to fall in love and all but korra was determined to try,she had decided to take advantage of how nicely mako had been towards her ever since she'd helped him find his baby brother.she had already made up her mind,she was going to tell him

~later that day~

"hey" korra said to mako

"hey"mako said back

"can i talk to you...like right now"

"ok but give me a sec" mako said

korra was seriously nervous she didn't know how to go about telling him"mako i like you i hope you like me too"she practised in her head trying to think of a way to tell him"so what do you want to tell me"mako said bringing her back to realityyeah, can we take a walk"she said trying not to lose her cool"ok" mako agreed

so what do you want you tell me korra,you look nervous" mako said studying her

"me no i'm not nervous.i just wanted to say...hey check it out cotten candy" korra diverted from the topic

Mako's povwhat's korra up to, one minute she wants to say something the next she wants cotton candy.what is she so scared to say.

korra's pov

oh Aang's grave that was close,is he on to me cause i can tell from his expression he's not very pleased,i have to tell him sooner or later

~After cotton candy~

"korra spill it" mako said

"what,i don't know what you're talking about" she denied

"ok bye korra" he said

"wait,i do have something to say" korra said looking down

"so"

"mako i really hope this won't ruin our friendship..." she paused

"so"he said trying to bring her out her thoughts

"i like you" she said almost in a whisper

"i don't get you" mako said shocked

"i'm in love with you mako" korra said loud gaining the attention of people nearby

mako stood there and said nothing and then realised what he had been trying to do for a week now korra had beaten him to it.it took minutes for a reply and that was when she decided to walk away but then she heard him say something but she wasn't sure so she turned and saw him smiling and then he took her hand and said again.

"i'm in love with you korra,i was hoping to tell you earlier but i guess you bea..."before he could finished she crashed her lips with his it took him by suprise but he kissed her back.kiss for minutes feeling like forever and then parted for air

"so" korra said breathing heavily

"so" mako said with a smirk

"wanna go get something to eat"korra suggested

" yeah but first will you go on a date with me"mako asked

"what do you think" korra said grinning like crazy

"that you'll say yes" mako said

"sure, so can we go now" korra said

"ok" mako took korra's hand and they walked hand in hand
