A/N: I started writing this when it was announced on Third Watch Dot Net that Jason Wiles was leaving Third Watch. This was way before it was announced that Third watch was going off the air. This was my idea of a graceful exit that would allow the fans to accept Bosco leaving a lot better than any other way. This still gives the possibility that he could return to the show. This is through the eyes of Emily since it is her diary. Granted I am not a HUGE Bosco fan but I do enjoy Jason Wiles' acting abilities. He comes off well as a jerk. :-)

December 2004
Bosco was hurt really badly. He's been in the hospital for weeks now. Mom lies in her room crying at night, worrying that he won't be okay. I can hear her now. She got me this journal as a Christmas present. She thinks it helps to write things out. I'm not sure I have enough things happening in my life to write down but I'll try.

December 28th, 2004
went with Mom to see Bosco but was scared that he'd be so different I couldn't go in the room. Charlie is going to stay the weekend. It will be nice to have the rug rat here. Maybe. I think Dad's still upset I'm living here.

January 4, 2005
I went to see Bosco come home. Mom went all out and got the PD to do this tribute to him or something. It almost made me cry. Rose doesn't think he should be by himself but he doesn't want to stay with her. Mom suggested our apartment if I was okay with it. Who am I to care?
Met CUTE boy at the hospital. Very tall! Very nice eyes. Does not look like boys in my school. He smiled at me!

Bosco is living here in Charlie's room. I don't know why but the way him and mom look at each other doesn't seem like friends. Drove Bosco to therapy. Saw cute boy and he talked to me. He asked if Bosco was my dad. Sort of. Bosco said something like he was hitting on me later. How embarrassing and how could a guy who's suppose to be good with women be clueless about guys. He so was not flirting with me.

cute boy asked me out after Bosco and I went to therapy. Bosco is still not released to go back to work but he's content hanging out with me and Charlie while Mom works and he cleans the apartment all the time. Who knew he could cook? Charlie comes over after school since Dad's at work and he doesn't like our step mom. Think it drives Dad nuts we like mom's boyfriend and not his wife. But we have grown up around Bosco.
I so don't get why they try to hide it. We have a hide a bed right that Bosco now sleeps on since Charlie is over all the time but when I get up to get a glass of water or to be nosy to be honest, he is not there. I can hear mom and him talking in her bedroom. DUH. We are not idiots. Charlie and I don't say anything though because they are right for each other and if this way makes them happy then so be it.
I heard mom and her friend, Jelly, talking about Bosco not going back to work and how sad it is but then Mom said it was best for everyone. We would all starve or go broke from eating out because she can't cook to save her life.
I think it's nice having Bosco around. He seems to actually care.
