Just a short holiday piece. I'll be the first to admit that I didn't put too much thought (or effort) into this one. Just the same, I hope that you enjoy. Best of the Season to you from me.
I still don't own Phineas and Ferb. Dan, Jeff & Disney do; but we knew that.
It was only 4pm, and the street lights came on. The snow was falling and the temperature dropping. Seventeen-year-old Isabella looked out her living room window at her neighbour's house; the Christmas lights had just been turned on.
Isabella saw the front door of the Flynn-Fletcher house open and someone walk out; by the looks of it, it wasn't Phineas. The individual walked down the walkway and then down the sidewalk. "I wonder where he's going." She mused to herself before closing the curtains and going to the kitchen to make herself a hot chocolate.
Isabella spend the evening preparing supper for her mother. "Good evening Mama." Isabella greeted as Vivian came into the kitchen. "Isa, you didn't have to make supper." The teen smiled. "I wanted to."
"Where are you friends?" Vivian inquired and Isabella sat down and sighed. "No one called. I guess they're all busy with their families." Vivian started to put the dishes away. Isabella tilted her head to the side. "Is there something wrong Mama?"
Vivian laughed lightly. "We're going out for dinner tonight, or did you forget?" Isabella's jaw dropped. "No one told me." She whispered and glanced out the window and across the street. Vivian started packing up the food when the sound of car doors closing were heard. "Go get dressed mija."
"Where are we going?" Isabella asked as Vivian pushed her toward the stairs. "We were invited over to Linda and Lawrence's place for dinner. Now go get dressed." Vivian then ascended the stairs to her room.
The doorbell sounded. "Can you get that Isa? I'm not dressed yet." Isabella came out of her room. "Okay Mama." She then went downstairs and opened the door as the doorbell sounded again.
Once Isabella opened the door she saw her neighbour. "Hey." She said with a smile. "Whacha' doin'?" Phineas grinned and flushed a deep shade of red. "I came over to check on you. I've been leaving you messages all day." Isabella blinked. "You have?" Phineas nodded. "Yeah, I kinda wanted you to come over for dinner, you know… as my date."
