I saw the second film Sunday night. Holy mercy's beard (odd?). Anyways, if you are reading this than you saw the second film. If not, DO NOT READ THIS as it contains some spoilers from the second film.
I'm super busy nowadays but I have this story mostly planned out and written down in my head (safe space, right?) so if I'm not updating on a daily basis, please forgive.
Enjoy.
~ Queenie's Rose ~
A month passed since Queenie joined Grindelwald and Credence in Austria. She knew that the side she had picked was the correct pathway to life between non-majs/muggles and the magical world. She always hated that rule but her love for Jacob made her fight anyway she could. She wasn't crazy, she knew what was right.
She mostly helped Grindelwald with connecting to Credence more than he had ever done before, as well as read possible new followers of his side of the fight. But lately she hadn't been doing much. She had just done her own thing on her own in her small apartment in Vienna. She kept photos of her sister, Newt and Jacob. Old ones and new ones.
She knew Teenie and Newt would end up together. The reports were made, but neither made a comment about it. Luckily a recent attack in London had changed the subject but Queenie instantly knew from the look in their eyes that the two were together. Even if not official, they were together. She wished she and Jacob could be the same.
"He'll change his way. Or this battle will be on our side and wes can be together." She said to the photo of herself and Jacob.
Queenie had felt miserable for a couple of days now. More than before. She had felt this a little before England and than during her trip in Paris. She assumed it was travel sickness but she hasn't traveled as much as she had before and still felt miserable. Headaches, nausea, sensitive to lights and feeling like she had a fever although she did not have a fever.
It wasn't until one morning when she woke up suddenly from a dream she had. It was a dream that took place in Newt's apartment in London. Tina and Queenie were celebrating Hannukah with Newt and Jacob. Newt was ecstatic to celebrate this with them as nobody in his life prior had invited him to something like this (whereas his brother was usually invited). "First Hannukah! How splendid!"
Queenie smiled as she recalled the dream. First Hannukah with Jacob (and Newt). She smiled thinking to all the firsts she and Jacob would have together. She reacalled all the firsts they had already had. Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, July fourth, first time together—A scandle that would had blown MACUSA off and did blow her sister off when she learned of this.
August. Wait. August? She thought about it some more. "No," She said as the idea became more and more real. "No. I used the spell and Jacob...it's impossible."
She went the next day to a local doctor to confirm.
She got her answer.
Queenie knew what this meant. It would be tough but knew it was the best thing to do.
Nine months and three days later in a home in Flossenbürg, Germany, Queenie heard a little cry in the room next door to her. She woke up and rolled over to get out of the bed and walk into the connected room next to her. She walked into the nursery turning the lights on and saw the white bassinet in the middle of the room.
"Good morning honey," Queenie said softly into the bassinet. "A little too early for your Mama. I guess I can make an exception." She reached in and picked up the three day old baby girl. "Ya hungry?"
Queenie sat on the rocking chair and adjusted her pajama shirt to nurse her daughter. Once the baby attached to Queenie, the blonde mother rocked in the chair singing to her girl. The Illvermorny song of course. What school had a better song than Illvermorny? Hog-wash?
"You sleep good honey?" She asked the unable to answer girl. "I know I did. Kind of a cute dream actually. Your father and I were with your Aunt Porpetine and Uncle Newton at Uncle Newton's home with all his fantastic beasts. I wish you could meet them but they're not right in mind." She could had sworn the little girl made eye contact with her.
"Don't give me that face, Rosie." Queenie laughed. "Ya know Rosie? You look a lot like me. The only thing you got from your father is his dark hair. Anyways, I know why they think their side is right but Grindelwalds side is better. Way better honey. His view of the world can be so much better for everyone who is magical and not magical and this could lead to lifelong happiness and more Rose's like you my honey flower," Queenie kissed her forehead. "At least I'm so far away now that if Porpetine and Newton are there they won't find us, Rose. Grindelwald found out about you and tried to get me to, well, not do something good. I got away. It took time and was difficult to leave but it worked. Oh and just between you and me," She whispered. "Your last name is actually Goldestine."
Queenie finished nursing Rose. She continued to rock her in the chair. "I love you my little Rose Hazel Goldestine."
Good so far?
Anyone reading other Fantastic Beasts story I've written so far, Fantastic Family, I do plan on finishing that soon as well as getting the sequel to that posted. I will tell you again when the time comes but the sequel doesn't have a real plot twist or anything, just the three characters each learning a lesson.
Thank you!
