This takes place after Season 2. Aaand ACTION!
"Long ago before Ninjago was built, there was war, war between Man and Demon. A war that began for the King of Demons wished to conquer all. The demons chose their loyalty, many to the Light others to the Shadows. But, a demon who refused to fight, begged for his life to a soldier who threatened it. The soldier spared him, in exchange the demon serve and protect, the soldier and all his children to come. This unique companionship, lead to a change between the two kinds. Since the end of the War, The King of Demons, with his Beasts of Darkness, has been locked away in the depths of Hell. The demons of light have demosticated, and peace was long-lasting between our two species."
"Sensei, why are you telling us this story?" Kai asked, feeling like a child from his position on the floor of the training room, with his fellow ninja. "I mean it's not like it's real, or anything."
"It's not a story, it's history, and you didn't let me finish." Said Sensei, while smacking his student's head with a bowstaff, earning an 'Ow!'.
"Upon the Demon King's Imprisonment, he swore revenge on those who imprisoned him, and to enslave everyone else. To this day both humans and demons await his return."
"That's cool, Sensei. But where's the lesson in all this?" asked Cole, confusion apparent on his face.
"I had a vision." Sensei said.
"What happened in this vision, sensei?" Zane asked.
"Obviously, we kicked that king's butt." Cole said, thrusting his fist in front of him.
"Yeah, I mean who else could defeat the Demon King?" Jay interjected, with a laugh.
"Unless, he visioned us all trying to defeat the King, but failing, rather than succeeding." Everyone's eyes widened.
"Don't tell me that happened Sensei." Kai asked his sensei.
"The King will rise. This, I know for sure." Sensei replied.
"But didn't see who defeated him?" Jay asked, Sensei replied with a curt nod of his head.
"Then, what are we going to do?" Kai asked. standing up.
"For now, all we can do is Train." Sensei replied, turning to walk out.
"Are we going to tell Llyod?" Asked Zane.
"When he returns. I am going to town. I'll be back." Replied Sensei, before walking out.
"Train?! That's all?!" Cole said angrily.
"If Sensei needs us to do that, we should, and we need to wait for Llyod." Zane said.
"Okay, anyone up for video games?" Asked Jay excitedly, Various 'Yeah's ' and 'Okay's were said as they began to play.
Meanwhile. . . Sensei went to Ninjago City. Venturing out to find, Takagawa Palace.
"I'm here to have an audience with, her Highness." Said Wu, at the gates, to the guards.
"Who are you?" One of the guards, asked.
"I am Wu, son of Tadahiro" He replied. The guards quite shocked, immediately let him in, and directed him where to go.
