"Edward?" Gretel yelled out to the forest. "Hansel?" There was no response. She continued walking through the woods a little longer but stopped when she heard a twig break behind her. She spun around and pointed her gun towards the noise. A man emerged through the trees, then another and another and another. They were tall with huge builds, they seemed angry with Gretel. One of them attacked her from behind, forcing her to the ground. She cried out and elbowed the man in the face. Two others grabbed her arms and lifted her up so her feet were dangling above the ground. The tallest of them all walked up to Gretel and punched her deep in her stomach. Gretel coughed up some blood, then lifted her head and spat in his face. All at once the four men started hitting Gretel everywhere they could. She couldn't fight back, she was far to weak and was growing weaker; all she could do was scream.
Gretel woke up screaming with sweat and tears trickling down her face. Hansel rushed over to her bed and cupped her face. "Gretel! Gretel!" He raised his voice over her screaming and grabbed her arms preventing her from struggling. She cried and screamed at the same time, then her breath stopped. "Gretel?" Hansel cupped her face again. She sobbed, "Hansel..." She hugged him tightly and continued to cry. Hansel rubbed her back soothing her, "Shh." When she finally calmed down Hansel pulled away. "Gretel, what happened?" She sniffed and shook her head. "We hunt witches for a living, and I'm scared of a bunch of men." She tried laughing then looked down at her hands, ashamed of her weakness. "Hey, look at me." He said to her. "You don't have to be afraid of them anymore. They are gone, Edward already took care of them. Gretel, I am not going to let anybody hurt you." He said strongly. Gretel nodded and hugged him again. "Try and get some sleep." He smiled and laid down on the floor. She nodded then sighed as she laid back down on her bed. "I'm safe now."
