Kikyo closed her eyes as she slipped into death. 'finally...... peace'

Her soul slowly drifted off towards the light to be judged, when the jewel with her began to glow pink. Kikyo looked down as a soft voice whispered to her ~sleep dear Kikyo.... It is not yet time to head there.~

Kikyo blinked 'then where?'

~sleep now you will see soon enough~

Kikyo nodded as she drifted off to an enchanted sleep.....

Kikyo drifted in the dark void curled around the jewel. She shifted as she felt a soul so like her own in the world of the living. 'who? They can not be me.... I am me.... I am here....'

~shhh don't worry about it you will see, you will know. Soon, yet it is not quite time....~

Kikyo nodded slightly her hand tightening around the stone....

Kikyo's eyes opened suddenly 'my spell! No! no one should have been able to!'

~shhh sleep, sleep dear Kikyo.~

'but.......'she began but her eyes drooped back to sleep.

Kikyo's hand tightened around the jewel 'that power!?.... like a shower of power?'

~do not fret you can handle that later. Now is the time for sleep~

Kikyo frowned but fell back to sleep nonetheless

*come to me Kikyo!!! Come and live again!!* a vile voice called out through the darkness to her.

She began to stir, she began to move once again to the world of the living. A bright pink light wrapped around her stopping her movement. 'but..... they call?....' Kikyo whispered mentally

~no no dear Kikyo that is not a call for you to respond to. keep sleeping I will wake you when it is time~

Kikyo shifted slightly but fell back in to a deep sleep.

Years and years passed but time has no meaning in the world of the dead.

~Kikyo~

Kikyo shifted 'hum?'

~it is time....~

Kikyo rubbed her eyes 'for what?'

~for the next part of your destiny~

Kikyo looked down as the jewel glowed pink then shot to her side disappearing with in it. ~let us go~

Kikyo blinked but let the pink light guide her 'to where?'

~to your new life~

Kikyo slowly felt herself floating towards the land of the living. 'I feel warm....' Kikyo closed her eyes as the shape of Kikyo slowly shifted to the form of Kagome.

Kagome smiled 'to my new life......'
