Chapter 1: An unexpected call
Rikki and Cleo sat at the cafe drinking a juice thinking about Bella and how she left them to study abroad. So it was just Rikki and Cleo for awhile. It seemed that there friends just loved the world.

One week later Cleo received an unknown call in which a hard and stern voice of a male lied behind. He then spoke softly " you know that girl Emma well she has a surprise for you wait until tomorrow got it?"
Cleo looked confused and said " yeah sure… bye" so she hung up the phone and went into her room thinking about how she misses Bella and Emma . She loved Emma like a sister but why would Emma travel around the world with her parents with a pool water tail, she could get seen and the full moon could intoxicate her!
What if she reacts to the moon and she stops thinking. She picked up her phone to call Emma but there was no answer .'Emma was busy most likely' Cleo thought to herself.
A couple of hours went by and Cleo invited Rikki over for a sleep over. She just couldn't be alone right now. Not too much later Cleo's phone rings "hello oh hey Emma so how's traveling? So when are you coming back what in one month ok … Emma is everything alright?" Cleo asked as she hesitated for an answer
"Yeah everything is fine, why would you ask?" Emma's cheery voice stated. "nothing it's nothing, well bye have a nice trip" Cleo hung up the phone and Rikki shot a glance over to Cleo. " So what did she say?" the tomboy asked. " She said she will be back in one month …well lets go to sleep. The rest of the night Cleo thought of the strange voice that called her, saying that Emma had a surprise but she just didn't trust the person, even as a mermaid, Cleo was Paranoid.
