Eyes (1/1)
It's his eyes.
No doubt about it. The sparkling blue eyes that can go from playful banter to professional and then back to flirtatious in a matter of minutes, if not seconds.
She knew her defenses always broke down once his gaze turned to her. Sitting next to her locker, she vowed that she would refuse the next thing he would ask of her.
A firm nod.
She knew she could…starting today, now.
The door opens, and a "Hey there..."
Speak of the devil, and there he was.
With a rakish grin on his handsome face, it took all of her will power to stop from jumping him right there and then.
"Got some time?"
For you? Always.
"I'm kinda stuck on the case…thought maybe you could take a look at it."
Anything to---NO.
She wouldn't fall for him. She couldn't. She'd refuse…
"Look, I'm sorry but I----"
Oh, damn, the eyes…the beautiful crystalline eyes.
Her resolve crumbled. So much for that.
Aiden sighed, "Lead the way, Danny."
She had fallen hard.
