" Is that really what you want, Kathy?" Elliot asked her. " Do you really want me to pack up and leave?, Because honestly I will do it in a heartbeat."
"Ohh, of course you would leave me in a heartbeat. Then, you can go run to your precious Olivia!" Kathy was screaming as tears were running down her face.
" Leave her out of this!"
"OH MY GOD! You are always going to defend her aren't you? Just get out!!"
"Fine!"
Elliot walked outside with only his wallet. He didn't know where it was that he wanted to go, but he had one place in mind….Olivia's. He was at her door when he heard something inside. It was Olivia, she was laughing.
She must be watching a TV show, Elliot thought to himself. Only when he knocked and the door flung open was he hit with the cold hard truth. There stood Olivia with another man. Elliot didn't even say anything. He just turned around and walked out.
He heard footsteps running after him. Someone grabbed his arm and swung him around.
"How could you?" was the first thing that came out of Elliot's mouth.
"What are you talking about?" Olivia asked, "What was I supposed to do Elliot, huh? Wait for forever? Waited until you and Kathy had your last argument and for you to come running to me? Is that what you wanted?"
Elliot was dumbfounded. He was at a loss for words. All he could do was watch her turn back down the street and start walking back to her apartment.
"Olivia!" he shouted. At first, she stopped walking, but then she turned around and ran for him.
As soon as she got to him he caught her. He looked down a her.
"I didn't want to make you wait. I just thought it would be better for the kids. I…" he was cut off by Olivia's mouth. He was hesitant at first, but after a few seconds he was kissing back. She grabbed his hand and started walking back to her apartment. When they got there the man was sitting on the couch.
"Elliot, I would like you to meet my cousin, Jake."
'Uhmm nice to meet you, but I don't understand" Elliot had a look of pure confusion in his eyes.
"I needed to get my answers somehow."
Elliot started laughing and then so did Olivia.
"Well you got your answers. Now, I think it's my turn." Elliot said.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean I have a question for you."
"Okay, what is it?'
"How was that kiss?"
"Simply the best," and with that, Olivia asked Jake if he could see himself out. After he was gone, Elliot and Olivia escaped to her bedroom.
