Simba's Journey

He didn't know where he was headed but he found himself by somebody's side. It was in a zoo that Simba was able to escape from his exhibit and ran out of the zoo. Being so young, Simba was catching attention everywhere; people either adored his looks or were backing away from him.

"Help?" Simba begged.

Everybody only ignored him but only said, "Aww."

Earlier, Simba was captured and taken from his homeland. He awoke earlier to find himself in different lands. He was not home. He had to leave the place and head home.

His dad died recently, it was all thanks to him! Will he be able to see his mother again? And his friend, Nala? What will happen to him? Will he be able to get home? Shedding a tear, Simba continued to walk but he felt something small bump to his paw. There was a mouse.

But the funny thing, this mouse was dressed in a waist long coat and a deerstalker hat. Who was he?

Basil had no idea who he was looking to but it was a lion cub. It must've escaped from the London Zoo and got lost. The cub seemed lonely that Basil had to say,

"Are you ill?"

Simba looked to the dressed mouse.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"Basil of Baker Street, good fellow. May I help you?"

"Do you know where I am?"

It was obvious to Basil that this cub lived in Africa.

"You're in London."

"I have to get home."

"Well, the best way is by train. I'll take you there."

It was because he was desperate, Simba followed Basil. It was a long walk that they came to a train station, but it was fast that a fox in green clothing came. Basil thought it was because there were many guards around. He did hear the people were in desperate need for hop and he knew who the fox was.

"It's Robin Hood!" yelled a pedestrian. "He's here!"

It sure was Robin Hood. The sheriff was there that he was taking money from a blind beggar. He turned around that the sheriff saw that he was face-to-face with his arch-nemesis.

"Oo-de-Lally!" yelled Robin, taking out his sword.

Simba and Basil watched Robin Hood battle the sheriff. It was Robin who won that the sheriff run away, without taking the money. Robin gave the money back to the beggar. It was when he turned around and saw an odd couple: a lion cub with a mouse.

"And who might you be?" he asked them.

"Basil of Baker Street!" said Basil enthusiastically.

"Simba," Simba muttered.

"Where are you two off to?" asked Robin.

"This young cub must return to Africa!" Basil exclaimed. "He should return so I can continue my case with the notorious Professor Ratigan!"

"Just enter the train little one."

Robin and Basil had to show Simba since he was confused. They watched the cub leave while the train went off. Basil left the station immediately that Robin stayed around and entertained some lonely children.

The train ride was long that Simba was starting to think what would happen to the fox and mouse. The fox, Robin Hood, seemed like a brave guy who was protecting those people and it seemed that the mouse, Basil, was searching for someone. Who knows who he is? But all Simba wanted now was to return home. But he can't face home. Not after what happened to his dad. He knew it was his fault.

It was a long ride up to three days that Simba had to travel after the train and ship that he finally returned to Africa. His first thought was the Pride Lands but instead, he ran off into another direction, away from home. It was until he was at a dry area that he fell to the ground feeling tired. Above him he heard buzzards but instead he ignored them. He was too tired to pay any attention to them.

He wasn't awake until there was water splashing his face.

"You okay kid?" asked a meerkat.

"I guess so," Simba mumbled. There was a meerkat with a warthog.
