Today was Maura's last day, Maura the sweet sweet German exchange student Jane had become close with over the past two weeks the honey blond had been there.

Each day, Maura was able to close which classes she went to, only being in Boston for two weeks. The past 4 days, she would spend each class with Jane, no matter how boring they were.

When Maura had suggested getting a photo with Jane at lunch time, she didn't realise how hard it would actually be for everyone to leave them alone just for 30 seconds.
When a girl who seemed to be everywhere, Kirra came up behind the two right as their photo was about to be taken, and put her arms around the two, Maura stood and smiled, while Jane looked at the hand on Maura's shoulder in disbelief.

Thats when Maura knew.

The rest of the day continued on, with sport shortly after the incident when Maura caught Jane looking at her legs in the shorts that were a little shorter than she knew acceptable, followed by Geography where Maura quickly slipped her one and only exchange card into Jane's text book, which included a photo of her, her number, her email and address. Watching intently as Jane blushed a slight pink, Maura giggled.

As the end of the day rolled around, Maura noticed Jane getting more quiet as the minutes ticked by, she knew it was time to make a decision.

The last class came by, which was Health, Jane loathed theory, more keen to be out doing something physical, Maura tried to cheer her up by slipping a quick (but astounding) sketch she had done of her perception of Jane's eye into Jane's view. Signed with a simple ' ' and a short note of 'Boston 2015' & 'I love you' inclined Jane to smile.

When the last bell of the day rang out, the honey blond noticed the brunettes usual confident façade falter a small amount. Walking back to the lockers, Maura engaged in small talk about Jane's little brothers, and her host family.

Once Jane had all of hr things for the weekend, the two slowly walked up to where the bus stop was and Maura's host father could be seen talking to the principal.

'Well, I uh.. guess this is goodbye...' Jane mumbled as she looked at her shoes.

'Jane.. Jane? Jane. Look. At. Me.'

Slowly, Jane's eyes slid up to the hazel eyes of her German friend. 'mhmm'

Maura slowly stepped forward and embraced the brunette and murmured 'I've really enjoyed my time with you, I really REALLY hope we can stay in contact when I'm back in Germany...'

'Yeah, me too Maur' The brunette whispered.

Slowly, the two pulled apart, gazing into each others eyes, until Maura slowly leaned forward, both sets of eyes flickering shut and their lips softly brushing.
Slowly, Jane became more confident, pulling Maura loser against her, and they both felt like they were on cloud 9. Neither realised they were still at school, until someone behind them wolf whistled and the two pulled apart.

Burnisher face into Jane's neck, Maura gave the Italian one more tight squeeze and peck on the lips, before she pulled completely away, blew Jane a kiss and sauntered away.
