This is more of a roman poem if you dont know, patria potestas is the father that has right to slay anyone in his family. this poem is about a father killing his son R&R

"Patria Potestas"

Father, please don't slay me!

I only did one thing wrong.

It won't happen again, Father, or do I not belong?

Why are you going against me, Father, I am your only son.

If only you could understand, Father, why my deed was done.

So crack open your whip, and beat me until I bleed,

for you will never know the reason why I did that deed.

You never let me explain, Father, so that is why you will eventually see

The bad mistake you made in killing me

Notes:: this randomly came to me when studying for my latin exam 12.13.06. I know is Roman, but i think its pretty good..maybe. this is my first thing ever in this genre, so please review. i want to know what you think ;)
