It's short, it's fun, it's cute. Something I got in my head at like, two in the morning. ::sweatdrop:: But I liked it, so I hope you guys enjoy it.

Don't own a thing. Enjoy!

Naruto was walking with Sasuke after training. "You know, you don't have to stay at the Uchiha compound by yourself."

Sasuke glared at the blond next to him, "Yes I do. You know why? It's 'cause I'm the only one left."

Naruto pursed his lips, "You could stay at my house…you know, if you ever…wanted company…" He wasn't going to admit that he was lonely, and he didn't expect Sasuke to admit it, but he hoped the Uchiha would take him up on his offer.

"Uchihas don't get lonely, dobe." Sasuke muttered and left the blond by himself.

"Alright, teme."

He did get lonely.

--

Sasuke looked over at Naruto who was sitting on his couch shivering slightly. He had given Sasuke all the blankets in his house.

"You could catch something without blankets, dobe." Sasuke muttered.

"Why do you care?" Naruto replied through chattering teeth.

Sasuke shifted, "You're going to get sick, take one of my blankets."

Naruto remained on the couch. "No, you're the guest." He retorted stubbornly.

Sasuke sighed, defeatedly, "Then come here."

"What?" Naruto's voice cracked.

"We can share." Sasuke mumbled.

"Okay…" Naruto watched the raven haired boy carefully as he settled next to him in the blankets.

Sasuke flushed, "But don't go blabbing, this is a once in a lifetime thing, don't get used to it."

"Alright, Sasuke…"

It wasn't the last time.

--

Naruto looked over at Sasuke from his place in the grass. "Do you ever think about the day we were put into teams?"

"No." Sasuke looked away from the blond.

Naruto propped himself up, peering into the Uchiha's ebony eyes. "Do you remember it?"

"No."

Naruto frowned. "You're lying."

Sasuke sat up. "What does it matter?"

Naruto pondered this for a minute before replying, "Do you ever think about it happening differently than it did?"

Sasuke froze. "I don't know what you're talking about."

He did know.

--

Sasuke pulled Naruto away from the main road and behind a clump of trees. "Naruto, can I ask you something?"

Naruto looked at Sasuke hesitantly, "Depends."

Sasuke rolled his eyes, "Do you promise not to get mad?"

Naruto squinted at Sasuke, "I guess…"

Sasuke looked at Naruto, screwing up his courage. "…Can I kiss you?"

Naruto blinked, "I—what?"

"Nevermind, it was a stupid thing to say." Sasuke turned away from Naruto.

"It wasn't." Naruto caught the raven's pale arm"…go ahead."

"Huh?" Sasuke was flustered.

"That is, if you're not too chicken." Naruto smirked.

He wasn't.

--

Naruto let his head lie on Sasuke's chest. "Sasuke?"

"What?" The raven asked quietly.

"What is this?" Naruto looked into his lover's ebony eyes.

Sasuke hesitated. "What's what?"

"This. Us." Naruto waited.

"I don't know what you mean." Sasuke avoided the question just like he did every time Naruto asked him.

He did know.

Naruto sighed. "Why don't you ever answer my question?"

"I don't know." Sasuke replied truthfully.

There was quiet. "Is it because you're scared?"

"No."

It wasn't.

"Then why won't you answer me?" Naruto looked at Sasuke tiredly.

Sasuke thought about it, when he was finally ready to answer, Naruto was almost asleep.

"Because I can't describe it." Sasuke whispered into the blond's ear.

Naruto stirred and looked at the raven. "But if you had to, what would it be?" He asked sleepily.

Sasuke's cheeks tinged pink. The blond never gave up. He leaned forward to kiss Naruto's forehead. "I think I'd call it love."

"You just did." Naruto smiled contentedly.
