The guy shouted her name and it resounded around the corridors. She lifted the shoulders and turned on her heels to face him.
-Was it really necessary for you to yell that way?
-Uuuhh… yeah, kora.
She mentally facepalmed.
-Ok, what's the matter?
-Well, you know… we're in February… and… well… you know…- Lal looked at him with her arms crossed over her chest , raising an eyebrow. Though everyone could say that he was used to that glare, the truth was that Colonello was still scared every time he saw his teacher look him like that. –Well, I… I brought you this – He said extending a bouquet of roses in front of her with that wide characteristic smile of his. Lal just stood there, frozen. –Oh, and wait- He pulled a heart-shaped box out of his jacket. More silence. Finally, she found the words and was able to speak.
-What's…. this?
-Your Valentine's day present, of course! Kora.-His smile was blinding.
She blushed madly.
-Th-th-thank you. I wasn't expecting this, really. I… Thank you- She tried to take everything from the boy's hand, but they were just so nervous to act cool and stop trembling, so it all ended in the floor. They both tried to pick it up at the same time.
-Oh, shi- Owch!
-Just let me - Ow!
Their heads hit the other's, creating an even more awkward moment. Then they tried again… with the same result. Lal got mad. She stopped him, picked up everything and started walking away. She still had that blush on her face…

-What?
-I'm sorry It ended that way…
-Can't you do anything without doing a mess?- She asked looking down, hoping to hide with this the red in her cheeks.
-She turned and moved forward.
-No, wait…
Colonello pushed her against the wall in between his arms, and quickly stole a kiss from her. Of course she was surprised at first, but then everything ended in the floor again and Lal didn't even realized about it, because she was really busy in that moment…. When she reacted, she took everything again and started to walk towards the door, for the third time in that event.
-Hey! So, you didn't like it? Kora.
She looked at him angrily, but once they were near again, after being sure no one was around to spy on them, Lal stood on her toes and kissed him in the cheek, to definitively run away, feeling the need to. She went onto hiding behind a wall, feeling the crimson color all over her face. She held tight against her chest all the presents and then smiled silly for herself, listening to the Colonello's stupid whoohoooo! Resound all around the base.
