Near Death
On a warm summer afternoon, Mitsuki and Takuto were together in the park, having lunch and enjoying each others company. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, everything was quite peaceful. Suddenly the warm and peaceful turned into the fearful and strange. Mistuki began to cough as the sky started to turn the color of lead. Takuto had no idea what was going on, but with worry for Mitsuki in his heart, he ignored the sky for now. He swept Mitsuki into his arms and ran to a disserted log cabin nearby. He reached the cabin and found some tattered blankets for Mitsuki to lay on. With her coughing getting worse, his worry grew. A few minutes flew by and Mitsuki was sound asleep, as pale as ever. A bit relieved that Mitsuki was asleep he had time to think about other things. He wanted to know what was going on with the sky and how odd it was that Mitsuki began to cough so hard out of no where. Thoughts were clouding his common sense. Thoughts like "Maybe aliens are attacking or some other life form wants to kill Mitsuki." He quickly gained his common sense back. Thinking with a serious mind, Takuto thought of the things that really could be the problem. He thought at first that it was just some fumigation coming from afar, or possibly a fire near by. He walked outside to clear his mind and try to get fresh air. The thoughts before were eliminated when he saw Izumi floating above the log cabin, where Mitsuki was safely sleeping.
Takuto: "What are you doing here"
Izumi: "I'm getting rid of that girl. She should of never been able to keep living"
Takuto ran to back into the cabin, only to find Mitsuki cold and without a pulse. Takuto cried out with anger, "What have you done"
Izumi, being far into the heavens by now could not hear the angry screaming coming from Takuto. Takuto no longer sensed Izumi and tried to revive Mitsuki,but it was no use. Mitsuki was far gone from where Takuto could reach her. As she lay there cold, Takuto lay over her crying and asking why this had to happen. Paying no attention to his surroundings, he did not sense that Izumi was outside. He felt cold-hearted for taking away Mitsuki's life after all they had gone through to save her so many years ago. Knowing what the right thing to do was, Izumi released the breath from his hands, letting it back into the once dead girl. Takuto was still crying over her. With her life being back into her, Mitsuki's head jolted up, which led to her lips pushing onto Takuto's. Izumi felt good for what he had done, and left the cabin. Mitsuki, only thinking she was past out, asked Takuto what had happened. Takuto didn't respond with words, but with a passionate kiss that seemed like it would last forever.
